Performance reviews, employee performance appraisals, and performance assessments of individual employees creates major challenges for management. Although management views, employee performance appraisals, performance reviews, and performance assessments as important, the completion track record of companies is generally poor. Feedback from our clients and from surveys suggests that the most significant reasons for lack of compliance are:

  1. Performance assessments that are time consuming due to text requirements
  2. Performance reviews with limited training for managers and supervisors
  3. Employee performance appraisals in which employees have limited or no input into their performance assessments
  4. Performance appraisals in which the statements are generic and do not reflect the responsibilities within a given position

iView is a web enabled performance review system that addresses all these barriers to effective employee performance assessments. iView is a platform that allows you to conduct performance reviews employing either a 360° or a 180 ° methodology. Employee performance appraisals are employee driven, enabling employees to add statements and select raters for their performance appraisal and create goals for their performance reviews. iView allows the organization to create corporate statements against which all employees are evaluated. iView also allows the organization to create statements to assess responsibilities within all positions within the company. Finally, employees can add, through an internal search engine, or create, employee specific statements and goals from prior year performance reviews. Management has the final approval of employee statements and rater selection.

iView allows for employee ownership of their performance reviews. The performance assessment system is easy to use by both supervisor and employee. The internal iView rater tracking and the internal methodology of being employee driven has improved compliance for most companies from an average of 20% to over 95% compliance.
